Dr. James Cooperman

Dr. Cooperman graduated from the UC Berkeley School of Optometry in 1983, and completed a VA Hospital Residency in 1984. His professional experience is varied and distinguished. He was an instructor at the Southern Califonia College of Optometry in Fullerton, and has lectured extensively at optometric education meetings. Dr. C was on the Board of Directors of a LASIK center, and was on the Board of Directors of the California Optometric Association. He was an expert examiner for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry.

Dr C is a local boy, having graduated from Fountain Valley High School in 1976!

Dr. Barbara Fineberg

Dr. Fineberg is originally from the midwest, and moved to Southern California in 1967. She graduated in 1984 from the Southern California College of Optometry, where she then taught for several years. She started this optometry practice in 1987, and Dr. Cooperman joined her in 1992. She has built long term relationships on a foundation of quality care and trust.

"My goal in practice is to take time with each patient in order to listen carefully, solve problems, and provide preventive care."

Dr. Pantea Meghdadi

Dr. Meghdadi grew up in Irvine. She graduated from UCI and then from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton. Her professional, caring, and friendly approach has been warmly received in the practice.

"It's imperative that we provide the proper diagnosis and management of all eye care issues. I feel it's important to address individual needs - I have a genuine desire to help patients with their vision and health of their eyes."

Nancy Jansen - Optician

Nancy is experienced with a capital E. She has been in the optical field for 25 years, the last 15 in our practice. She enjoys working with people, and particularly enjoys showing her creative side, designing custom frame shapes and lens tints. "My mission in the office is to make sure the patient gets the best quality care we can give them and also make sure the staff is happy."

Nancy grew up in Southern California and is a hotshot soccer player. Her other passion is being with her grandchildren - all 12 of them!

Eileen Brooks - Optician

Eileen is experienced, being in the optical field for 15 years, the last 8 in our practice. She enjoys helping people, and enjoys the unique combination of fashion design in the health care field. "I like providing fashionable and functional eyeware, and enjoy educating patients on how to protect their precious gift of sight."

Eileen grew up in Southern California, and likes spending time with her kids, dancing, going to the movies, travelling, and being outdoors.

Gloria Mendoza - Lead Receptionist

Gloria simply never has a bad day. She is courteous, professional, and girl-next-door friendly. She has experience too, with 18 years in the field, the last 6 with us. "I love my job, being part of a caring staff to provide the best quality of services for patients."

Gloria is another Southern California girl born and raised, and enjoys music, the beach, and spending time with her grandchildren.
